Every day, we have a choice
To heed one or another voice
There are two who want to rule each mind
To hem us in, front and behind
One came to heal us and bring joy
The other comes to kill, steal, and destroy
Those whispers we hear…
To which will we give ear?
One has words that sound smooth and sweet
But listening will ultimately bring defeat
One has words that may cut and sting
But listening will make us rejoice and sing
Though One has already claimed victory
Many days of battle we still must see
Which one will we arm, which one will we heed
To whom will we cling in our hour of need?
Only One has words that are right and true
I know who I want to hear…do you?
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but…against the spiritual forces of evil…” –Ephesians 6:10-11
The Bible clearly states that we have a spiritual enemy. He has been defeated, but he will do everything he can to pull each of us away from God, who created us and formed us for a good purpose. I know this to be true in my own life! He wants to rip apart our relationships, marriages, families, entire lives, since he knows he can’t have the final victory. These “little” battles play out in big ways in our lives. We must be alert to these schemes and know the voice of our loving Father.
Maybe this is an uncomfortable message, but it’s on my heart, and in these days more than ever, I feel that boldness is necessary.

I am so glad that my family and I know the goodness of God. We continue in prayer for those who have not “tasted and seen” yet! Blessings to you!
AMEN! Thank you for replying, and I look forward to sharing. Be BLESSED, Mtetar
That is a good message to remind us that we have an adversary who wants to trip us up whenever and wherever he can. How important it is to be tuned into God’s station, to have a clear voice from God. When there’s static, muffled voices trying to get through to us, we can always go to the Word of God, our Bible, and there we will be hooked up to the right channel!
Stand fast!
